More
than "fun in the sun," Cancun is the jumping off
point for some of the worlds best flats fishing
Mexicos Yucatan Peninsula - drawing anglers from all
over the world in search of a fly-fishing "grand-slam,"
a bonefish, permit, tarpon all in one day. All of our
lodges are located within Sian Kaan, (Mayan for "birthplace
of the sky"), a 1.3 million acre nature reserve of tropical
forest, mangrove, flats and keys, providing untouched natural
beauty and insulating them from the outside world. |

Casa
Blanca
Maybe the best place to take your shot at a grand-slam. Located
on Mexicos Ascension Bay, Casa Blanca combines deluxe
accommodations and fine food with world class flats fishing
in a beautiful and remote setting. Large schools of 2-6 pound
bonefish with singles up to 15 pounds, plus tarpon, but the
main attraction here is permit. Its not unusual to see
25 or more within casting range in a day. Cost:
Weekly packages start around $3,000 per person based on double
occupancy. |
Playa
Blanca
Located about 30-minutes ride from Casa Blanca, Playa
Blanca is a remote and intimate tropical paradise. Stay in spacious,
beachfront cabanas, dine on fresh seafood and fish nearby Santa
Rosa Lagoon and Espiritu Santo Bays untapped bonefish
and permit fisheries. Or take a break from fishing and explore
the nearby Mayan ruins, go sea-kayaking, snorkeling, swimming
or just kick back and catch some rays. A great place to get
away from it all and totally relax and renew. Cost: Weekly packages start around $3,000 per person based on double
occupancy from Cancun. |
