Heartland Lodge
Five-star facility located in the heart of hunting heaven.
If you are looking for a top-notch upland hunt, Harpoles
Heartland Lodge in Pike County, Illinois offers what many
consider to be the best in North America. Enjoy hunting native
Bobwhite quail, and pheasants over some of the best working
German Shorthair Pointers and English Pointers in the country.
An abundance of CRP fields mixed with Milo combine to produce
ideal habitat for upland birds. Hard working guides will handle
the dogs, carry the birds, and dress your kill at the end
of each day. You will enjoy three hearty home-cooked meals
each day. After the hunt, enjoy the fire in the massive stone
fireplace in the Great Room, or shoot a game of pool. Specialty
hunts can also be arranged. If you are looking for Chukars
or Red Leg Partridge, Heartland has some of the hardest flying
birds you can find. These sporty birds challenge even the
most accomplished wing shooters. Heartland Lodge is a special
place, not to be missed.
